I like getting free stuff.  (Let's be real, who doesn't?)  I'm not saying that's the reason I have a beauty blog, but I will admit that it is a very fun perk… not only that, it is a useful perk, too.  How?  Press samples and items provided for review give bloggers like me access to items that perhaps we wouldn't have purchased for review with our limited funds on our own.  I don't want Earth to Luxe to only document the products that catch my attention or work for me.  I may have been inspired to make this change for my own wellbeing, but I am writing this blog for all of you!  I want to have a blog that reviews a wide range of products, so if you are looking for a thorough review of X or Y, you might be able to find it here.  I can't do that without free samples unless I have a lot of disposable income. (Spoiler Alert: I don't!)

To that end, yes, absolutely!  I will occasionally accept items sent for review, and I may also write sponsored posts, but each of these will be clearly indicated at the beginning of each post.  If I purchased an item myself, whenever possible I will link you to the store (and let you know if I've used affiliate links, too).

Rest assured knowing that even though I may be compensated to provide my opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics, I will always give my honest opinion or experiences on those topics or products.  My primary goal is always going to be for you as my readers to trust that whether a product was sent for review, a post was sponsored, or I purchased an item myself, that the opinions are always going to be 100% honest and my own.  I take pride in cultivating that level of trust and reserve the right to opt out of publishing a review if I do not feel I can be fair about my opinion.   If I don't like a product, service, website, or whatever I am reviewing, I would like to share that with you and tell you why rather than not write about it at all.  I think negative reviews are every bit as useful as the positive ones; I know they've saved me money in the past!

Keep in mind that there are two sides to that coin, though.  The views and opinions here are purely my own.  These reviews are based on my personal experiences, so yours may differ completely.  I'm also not the FDA, a doctor, an esthetician, a makeup artist, or a hair stylist, nor do I claim to be any kind of authority on any of these subjects.  I'm just a very opinionated woman.  Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer, provider or party in question. Make sure that using Earth to Luxe is only one step of several in the research you do
